            What should you expect while working as a Cloud Backend Developer?

Here in Teridion the team is working in an Agile environment divided into 2 Feature teams. 

Our product is written in Scala. You will be reporting to the Agile Team Leader. 

Your main role will be taking an active part in our main product which is a distributed cloud based system: designing, developing, and building in large scale, big data server components, including many micro-services, multiple databases. Working at large scales. 

Responsibilities:

  • Adding new features from design to deployment
  • Participating in requirements definition meeting
  • Responsible for infrastructure changes, fixing bugs, troubleshooting. 
  • Working with Product and System architecture teams. 

Position is located in Petah-Tikva, Israel

Requirements:

What we are looking to find in your employment experience?

  • At least 4 years of proven experience in server-side development
  • Experience with high level languages such as: Scala or Java/C# / NodeJS /GO/Python. 
  • Self-learning and multitasking skills, Independent
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor degree in computer sciences from recognized academic institutions
  • Good English level.  

 

Nice to have 🙂

  • Experience with distributed, large scale systems.
  • Experience with Big data systems
  • Experience with Scala.
  • Experience with multi-threading, performance and optimizations
  • Computer networks background
  • Experience with NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, Hadoop, MongoDB, Couch base, Elastic search)
  • Experience with streaming, event based systems like Kafka.
