What should you expect while working as a NetOps manager?

 

·      Manage a growing team of 3 NetOps engineers

·      Work close with sales on deals qualification

·      Work with prospects and partners channels in the pre-sale phase to acquire customers

·      Team up with DevOps and NOC/Support to deliver exceptional customers experience in the post-sale phase

·      Work with Products and RnD to inject customer’s needs to the service roadmap

·      Be a key influencer on Teridion's Service Delivery and the company’s business plans


Key responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance for the NetOps team
  • Partner with sales engineering to perform Trials/POCs for Teridion prospects
  • Take a key role in delivering 99.99% uptime of service availability
  • Provide 24/7 escalation point of contact for the NOC and support functions
  • Own the Teridion technical interoperability efforts with 3rd party vendors 
  • Implement a cost-effective public cloud deployment across several clouds
  • Onboard new features and provide corresponding feedback to RnD and the product teams



 

Requirements


  • At least 3 year of experience as a team leader with customer interactions
  • At least 5 years hands on experience as a NetOps engineer
  • Profound knowledge in Networking protocols and technologies
  • Solid knowledge with LINUX/Unix operating systems
  • Proven experience with 3rd party security/network technologies e.g. Fortinet, Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto.
  • Production experience – ideally in a SaaS environment
  • Operating experience in the public cloud, ideally with few cloud providers
  • Familiarity with SDWAN solutions such as VeloCloud, Meraki, SilverPeak
  • Familiarity with monitoring solutions such as Splunk Infrastructure monitoring
  • Strong written and verbal English skills
  • Ability to perform at the highest levels in a highly technical multitasking environment
  • Ability to see the big picture and at the same time to pay attention to details
  • Superior trouble-shooting skills
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
